Community Basics Video Series: Using the Search Tool

Watch as Community Manager @CassandraDMC shows you how one search in Community delivers information from multiple sources such as Knowledge Base, Academy, and Community—all in a single place. Check out the 3-minute video to learn how to get the answers you need in a fraction of the time!

A few additional search tips worth noting:

• Enter just a few key words related to your question/problem & add key words to refine your search
• Do NOT use punctuation 
• Search is not case sensitive
• Avoid non-descriptive filler words like 'how', 'the', 'what
• If you do not find what you are looking for for the first time, reduce the number of keywords, and try again

1. Sorting by the tabs below search box (this enables me to focus for what type of resource that can help me)

2. Advanced Search (allows for much more detailed search) 

3. Once you use the search box take advantage of the Sorting. #AMAZING

Bookmarks, Relevance/Created Date/ Different view capabilities
