Help ServiceTitan make your experience a better one

As a contractor, you know that your customers are not all the same. Maybe your service area includes mostly DIY-ers who already understand some of the technical aspects of installing a piece of equipment or replacing a part, or maybe they include younger tech-savvy customers who want to only engage with your business online or by phone. The approach you should take with each group is different based on factors such as budget, urgency, decision-making constraints, or even previous experiences with services like yours. 

At ServiceTitan, customer experience is our highest priority as well. We aim to provide our customers with the best experience based on knowing who they are, what they want to achieve, and just what they need to be successful.  

What are Archetypes?

Archetypes are representations of our customers grouped by their needs, motivations, goals, and areas of pain and frustration. At ServiceTitan, we want to understand how you think, feel and act to achieve important workflow goals,  so  we developed the following archetypes:

 

  • Master - Driven to overachieve by maximizing and mastering their company’s use of ServiceTitan.
  • Climber - Willing to try any approach necessary when using ServiceTitan to reach a master level of their business
  • Optimizer - Assessing and optimizing ServiceTitan for their specific company needs.
  • Experimenter - Experimenting with ServiceTitan recommendations. Testing & validating suggestions with real data.  
  • Accelerator - Striving beyond a baseline level to achieve exceptional operational efficiency by using ServiceTitan.
  • Get Up and Running - Focused on getting to a place of stability and getting the hang of Servicetitan at a baseline level

 

 

How do we create better experiences using archetypes?

Is your business focused on operational efficiency? Are you satisfied with where you are and just want to keep more of the money you earn? Or are you on blast-off mode and gearing up to go big and grow? To deliver a better experience for you and help you reach your goals, it’s important that we know which archetype you belong to.

For example, if you are in the Get Up and Running or Accelerator archetypes, we can be sure to add more recommendations to your workflows and provide easy access to coaching groups and mentor networks.

Are you an Experimenter? We can make sure we make all of ServiceTitan’s features easy to explore, so you can test and see how they work for your specific business needs.

Are you an Optimizer? You know ServiceTitan pretty well, so we won’t hit you over the head with tons of new features or surface basic how-to guides. For you, it’s all about helping you identify the highest impact changes you could make with what you already have – and that’s a whole different experience than the archetypes mentioned above.
