I've always thought of it as a "like" button which makes me think people don't like what they see on here. Is there a contest for the least amount of kudos given?
Takes courage to come into a community space and ask a question. What's the record for most kudos given? I'm about to break that.

Welcome to Community Dave! A kudos can mean anything from a like or saying thank you. If you find a post helpful or simply enjoy the content, please like it with the kudos button. The poster will receive a notification.
We have a kudos leaderboard as well showing those who receive plenty of kudos. Though we don't have badges for giving kudos, we do have badges showing kudos received including First Kudo (1), Round of Applause (10), Well Liked (25), Much Appreciated (50), Popular (100), In High Regard (500), and Kudos Champion (1000). I encourage you to give kudos and share your thoughts on other posts so you can get badges of your own and make the leaderboard! 😄

Appreciate the response. And I'm glad my natural passive/aggressive/sarcastic nature doesn't translate well because as we all know.....tone can be lost in text.
I was referring more to the fact that view counts are at 20 on a question and kudos are at 0.......how hard is it to reward someone with one click of the mouse for taking the time to ask a question? Especially to those people who are new to a community? Where is the Holiday spirit? 😁
