I completely agree with you that typically, we should be adding our commonly used materials into pricebook. It makes less work for us and allows us to use purchase orders and inventory. However, I can see how this may be helpful, for example, when we have custom duct work orders. It is such a specific item that it is good to know we can create these custom materials for these estimates occasionally when needed. 🙂
