Why can I not run a report of all my memberships in alphabetical order by last name? Really, who runs a report by first name when you are looking for a customer?

So I am guessing you are talking about the people who have purchased memberships, sorted by customer last name? Have you tried generating a custom report? Report (reports tab) --> Create Report --> Marketing --> Customers. That is what I did and I can see all my customers who have purchased a membership in alphabetical order by last name. For example for me I would be near the bottom of the list because Todd, Alex.
