Time Based Pricing

Hello,

I was looking through the settings and it occurred to me: There is nowhere to set time-based pricing in ServiceTitan. Why shouldn't we be able to say that after 5:00pm our price increases a certain percentage etc. Or even just being able to duplicate the Pricebook entirely and assign different pricing to it. It appears my only option as it sits is to export the PriceBook, change the pricing, codes, etc and then reimport it after fixing the 10,000 mistakes I made.

Anyone have any other solutions? Or perhaps ServiceTitan could look into this as a possibility?

Hi @Austin! You actually have the ability to duplicate Pricebook items directly within the UI! If you hover over the right-hand side of the Pricebook item, you should see a little kabob menu. Select on that and then select "Duplicate" to create a second copy of that Pricebook item! Here is a helpful article!

As far as having the price adjust based on what time of day it is, I would recommend reaching out to your Customer Success Manager to further discuss your options for dynamic pricing!

What you are describing is possible with our new Dynamic pricing feature that is currently in open beta. You can reach out to your CSM to ask to have it activated on your sandbox and/or live account. Here are some additional resources to review before requesting the feature.

Note that with dynamic pricing it is CURRENTLY (updates coming soon) "after hours" (after 5pm ex) on ALL days. There is no "weekend" definitely yet, to make all Saturday and Sunday defined as After Hours. Just wanted to point out that gotcha

@Austin Hi there! In addition to Dynamic Pricing, you also can have after hours labor rates and/or client specific rates so I just wanted to make sure you're aware of that piece. Hope this helps!

Dynamic Pricing is what I was looking for. I chatted into ServiceTitan support who told me their favorite line: "Great idea, post it in the Community!".
