Is it possible to set up automatic payments for an Invoice? Not for a membership, but for a regular invoice.

I have several customers we offer payment plans to and it would be nice to be able to set up auto-payments for that to occur each month.

I have yet to try it, but I am thinking of creating some type of "Billing Membership" that we can add payments to. Possibly?
