Tax Zone by Default

Is there a way to set a Tax Zone by Default?  95% of our customers are residential and if we can set this Tax Zone by default, it would save time and minimize the errors during batching, posting and exporting invoices and payments.

Yes! The zip code field controls who gets what tax zone so In the zip code field, put an *. This counts as a wild card and means that everyone in the zip code will get the tax zone by default. Make sure to click the "Set Tax Zones" button and that will apply it to any customer that does not already have a tax zone set and will apply to new customers.
