How do I add a PO that had been created to an open project?

I was trying to add it to the Project. The job has not been created. It was something I had to order with a lead time and now I need to tie it to the Project.

For situations like that, what we do to still account for the cost against the project, is once the job is posted, if that PO has already been received and exported, we add a general cost line as a miscellaneous cost on the job, so that the dollars associated with the purchase are still considered against the margin when you look at the financials. That may be something that would be doable, if you don't have a job to tie it to yet.

If you have a job that is already a part of the project, you can add the PO to that job. That ties it all together when you look at the project in the financials, and will then update the PO source once you save the change. You do need the job to still be unposted, to make that change, I believe.
