Audit Trail for Services/Materials/Equipment

Wondering what thoughts are on an audit trail for prices in Services/Materials/Equipment. That way if you click into something you can see how prices have changed and who has done it. 

For services you could also see what material or equipment has changed and who changed it. 

I know you can look at price history, but you'd need to know when it may have changed and it is easier to see trends if it is in audit trail form...

I think that would be a good Idea, we currently export the price book history at least 3 times a month to be sure we always have an up to date back up. Also the people that have access to update the price book I can count on one hand so we always know who made a change. I can see how this could be very helpful for larger companies and enterprise account.
