Estimates created without a job?

Is there a way to pull an estimate that was created under a customer but not a 'job' into a project? Or 'Book A New Job' from an estimate that was not created from a 'Job'?

The estimates created without jobs attached are just in limbo?

Hey Swagman, Once you sell the estimate you can book a new job, and then in the project you can attach an existing job to the project.

How do you sell the estimate from the office? I have a customer who prefers to verbally approve the estimate.

I do highly recommend always having a signed estimate for your protection!

You can sell an estimate manually by going into the estimate and clicking on the 'opportunity' ID number (hyperlink) at the top of the page. From this page you select the Sold/Convert drop down and then select the appropriate Rep, and now the estimate is in 'Sold' status.

There is no opportunity ID since this estimate was created from the call screen, not from a job.

I am literally having this same issue. Theres no opportunity page to open and sell the estimate? Its as if that feature is designed for the person to verbally approve on the phone at that very moment or you can't sell it in the future?

And I see no one has replied to your issue or given any update on this?
