User with this email already exists

When an employee is deactivated, the email is still part of the profile.  When a new profile is created for an employee just hired and they need to use the exact same email, it will not let you and states "User with this email already exists.  I understand why an email needs to be attached to an active employee but not to a deactivated employee.  As companies grow, the likelihood of needing an email address to be available from a deactivated employee goes up because of email formatting rules within a company.  It would be great if we could delete the email from a deactivated employee.  Easily done if the email field in the profile is no longer required when deactivated.  Please consider this to be part of the next update.  We really need this to be manageable.  Thank you.

We have dealt with this a little bit, but we just add an initial or number to differentiate.
