I’m trying to open a company file in QuickBooks, but I keep getting an error message that says, "The file you specified cannot be opened." I’ve tried restarting my computer, but the issue persists. How can I resolve this problem and access my QuickBooks file?

This error often occurs due to insufficient permissions or issues with your antivirus software. To resolve it, try running QuickBooks as an administrator. Right-click the QuickBooks icon and select "Run as Administrator." If the issue persists, temporarily disable your antivirus software, then try opening the file again. Ensure the file is not set to "Read-Only" and that you have full access permissions.
