Could you be a little more specific about what tags being mandatory? You can set Business Unit tags, if that is what you are referring to.
To do this click on your Business Unit in the settings and select the tags you would like to have per Business Unit in the "Edit Menu". If this is not what you are asking about, please respond with a more in-depth explanation.
