Close out unsold estimates

What should we do with the job if, for one reason or another, a customer declines to do the estimated work? Service Titan has told us to either turn the job into an invoice, which we do not want to do or cancel the job.

We leave our estimates open incase the customer changes their mind down the road. It stays in their account history permanently so we have record of all the work that was either completed or advised to be completed for that location. We do advise the customer it is only active for 30 days (even though it remains open), so we can revise pricing if needed.
