Unable to Cancel a Job if a Payment is applied

You should be able to cancel a job if a customer has cancelled the job and deposit payment has been refunded. You should not have to complete a job in order to get it off your schedule. This is something that should be changed in the system.

Can you unapply the payment from the invoice refund the payment and cancel the job? Even a batched payment can be unapplied from an invoice. You might try this in your next account.

I just tried this in my next account. while the payment is still on the invoice. refund the payment. then unapply from the invoice. delete all items from invoice, then cancel the job. Give this workflow a try in your next account to see if you get the desired result.
