In the Pricebook, is there a way to sort items by "Code" instead of by "Categories & Name"?

The alphabetized tech pricebook is confusing for the techs. Sort by code would help categorize. 🤔 I guess a workaround could be to create several sub categories, and build estimate and proposal templates for common options. It's a lot of work but it adds so much value to the company. 😎

I'm not sure why they would sort by name in the tech pricebook. When you look at the tasks in the office pricebook work page, the tasks are sorted by codes as they should be.

To arrange the tasks properly, we have to go thru every subcategory and put numbers in front of task name (2,4,6, etc) for all our 1100 tasks. WHAT A PAIN ..... Every other price book sorts by code number. We are new to S/T and just found this out.

@Admin You can search for a partial code, and it would return everything. Or you can download the excel spreadsheet of all tasks and swift through it 🙂
