I am a Quality Control Coordinator & Admin Assistant for a HVAC contractor. We have been using ST for over 4 years now. We started when covid hit and basically had to learn everything on our own by trail and error. Along with the Academy lessons, which helped but It feels like there is always something new we should have been doing since we started. Today i was asked about Bank Deposits under the Accounting tab. We have never done anything with this. What should we be doing and if we haven't this long is it really that necessary? Just trying to make sure if are doing what is best for the company.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I too would like an answer to this inquiry. We have an accountant who manually enters the payments into quick books and the Service Titan invoices. We don't do anything with the bank deposits page. Recently, I've started grouping all the deposits by dates I did them to organize our records. What confuses me is the accounting page under customer payments says there is over $100K in undeposited funds. I know that's not true because it is deposited in Quick books. If I deposit them in Service Titan will it mess up my books?

Hopefully someone reads this and can help.
