Hi everyone, I'm encountering QuickBooks Error 1722 during installation, which says there's a problem with the installer package. I’ve tried restarting my computer and running the installer as an administrator, but the issue persists. Has anyone experienced this error and found a solution? Any advice on resolving it would be greatly appreciated.

The RPC service is crucial for communication between different software components and services on a network. Problems with RPC can stem from network connectivity issues, incorrect service settings, firewall or antivirus blocking, or corrupted system files.

How to Resolve System Error Code 1722 in QuickBooks:

  1. Restart RPC Services: Open the Services console (services.msc), locate “Remote Procedure Call (RPC)”, and ensure it is running. Restart it if necessary.
  2. Check Network Connections: Ensure your computer is connected to the network and that there are no connectivity issues.
  3. Firewall/Antivirus Configuration: Temporarily disable firewall and antivirus software to see if they are blocking RPC connections.
  4. System File Check: Run sfc /scannow in Command Prompt to repair corrupted system files.
  5. Update Windows: Ensure your system is up-to-date with the latest updates and patches from Windows Update.
