Enhancement: Backdating Start Date


Hey folks, the ST team is excited to share an enhancement that was released in our 67.1 version: you are now able to backdate the start date of service agreements.

Previously, the start date was restricted to the current date (which was a bit of an annoyance!).

You are now able to more precisely account for agreements that were sold outside of ServiceTitan or backdate agreements to the first of the month for easier reporting and renewal management purposes.

Note on billing: to ensure that you are not missing the initial invoice generation (especially for backdated agreements), there is a button on the Recurring Billing page in the upper righthand corner that indicates if there are any agreements with billing dates that might have been skipped over in the past. Please be mindful of this information, especially for agreements that should be paid in full upfront.
