Often we deal with commercial properties with multiple pieces of equipment and not the same Technician will go out to the location, depending on the scope of work needed to be done (skill set) or our availability. Trying to locate the unit needing the service can be timely at times if the technician has not been to that location before. It would be a great idea when adding equipment to also have the option to attach a picture within the equipment section. Showing a visual of where that piece of equipment is located on the property, thoughts?

I totally agree that this needs to be a feature. When our technicians go out on various stages of a job, whether rough-in or trim-out, they take pictures of the equipment labels with model & serial numbers, as well as the equipment itself. As office staff, we need to verify the technician added model & serial numbers against the photos, then warranty the equipment with the manufacturer. This is a tedious process that requires multiple windows and back and forth navigation. If, as office staff, I could select an icon next to the memo field within the equipment that pops open popup window with a gallery of all project photos, where I can select multiple photos of that specific piece of equipment, which would be viewable later within the equipment, it would save a lot of time verifying the equipment, finding important information, warrantying the equipment, and then being able to see, understand and diagnose service calls later on. This seems like a very important feature request.

Hi, One work around is to create a form for equipment and have tech add form (through the equipment details page not job page) and take a picture- equipment forms stay attached to equipment, then the next tech can select the equipment he should be working on and see all the forms with the pictures.
