Does anyone have a way to find out the specific clients and/or jobs that an item is on hold for.

So for example, if you have 5 valves on hold (what ever your part number is) what jobs or clients do they belong to? Just looking at the part number history only shows you the history for the transactions for that number and not the specific and current jobs/clients that they belong to. Thanks

A direct inquiry would be nice, but you can get this information relatively easily by hitting the search option, selecting invoice lookup, entering the part number of the item you are looking for in the invoice items search bar and executing the search.  If its a common part you'll get lots of invoices listed, but to find the ones on hold, look for invoices whose completion date is empty.

I was able to get this information by running an Inventory Item Activity Tracking Report, for invoices transaction type only, grouped by transaction number and item code, then I had to look for a change in qty on hold greater than 0 for that item number.  Seems there should be an easier way, especially since we can't have duplicate copies of this report saved with the filters.  If you have a lot of transactions it's just really overwhelming using the warehouse or truck details screen
