Creating a Form to save to the Location Page

Is there a way that a tech can capture site specific information and save it to a location page?  What are companies doing to record site info so that it is public for the company to see?

For example a technician visits a house and finds out a controller is in the basement, or the plumbing backflow is in a odd crawl space, etc.  We would like for the tech to be able to record that so it saves on the Location page forever, so that anyone who visits can find this information.

We have created Forms but those forms only appear on the Job and in the Job history.  They are not saved to the Location.  It is inconvenient because on every visit information would have to be re-entered, that becomes redundant and not helpful for future service.  Also, it doesn't make sense for the office to re-record in the notes because it is double entry.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi @craigzumdick -- you can assign this specific form for the location page. You can do this by going to settings>forms>edit>select "location" on the assign to in the forms edit page.

They enter information in the invoice summary, just like they would on a standard invoice, then when we send out the invoice from the office, we add whatever notes we think may be needed on the site or customer page for future reference. That isn't something they would have to do every time as far as cleanout location or back flow location, just the first time.

Thanks,  But this still creates a double entry because techs can't create notes, correct?

You can enter notes for each location. That is where I put any information just for that location.

We pin it as a note to the location page.
