Requiring a form after it has been opened

We have a new employee that came over from another company that uses Service Titan and he let us know that at his old job, once the techs opened a form, it was required to complete the form before they could closeout. Does anyone know how to make this required? I'm thinking it has something to do with triggers but under the "events" dropdown it doesn't have anything that would work with that. This particular form only needs to be filled out when a warranty part is replaced so I don't want it to be required on every job. Thank you!

I'm not sure if it would solve what you are running into, but you can make individual fields on a form required, when editing the form. 

This wouldn't be the same as the triggers that make the form required on each job, but just that those fields are required on the forms itself.
