Our company and I'm sure others would really like to be able to see sold hours for an estimate prior to booking a job.
When a customer calls in to book a job there's a need to be able to at a glance, see how long this job will take so we can get them on the schedule.
We are currently doing this by reading the sold hours we've coded into the unique pricebook item codes and tallying them up. This works well for small jobs with 2 or 3 tasks but gets to be complex on larger projects. We see it as throwing a bump in the road of good customer service to have put someone on hold to get a calculator out and tally up sold hours from the codes.
On the mobile side we can look at the materials list to see sold hours for an estimate or an invoice. We would like to see the same kind of functionality on the office side.
