Unable to book job due to no item on truck

Hello, I'm currently running into an issue where we're trying to book a service job that may be 2 weeks out (we do water feature maintenance). We would grab the materials that are needed that morning, like let's say a replacement pump, however we're unable to book the job today because there's no inventory on the truck. We don't want to transfer that pump from our inventory to the truck until the day of the actual service as that takes it out of our inventory and would mess up our counts. Any ideas or workarounds or settings I'm missing?

Ideally we'd want to be able to book the appointment without factoring in inventory so we can actually book the job and then do our transfers on the day of the appointment.

Hello @codybumpus,

In this case you can allow to have negative quantities for inventory to be able to add item without actually having it in the truck.

To do so, please navigate to Settings -> Inventory -> Configuration -> Click on "Inventory" tab and add a check mark next to "Allow Quantity Available to be negative".
