This article highlights some of the reasons women are flooding the construction scene and changing the industry as a whole. My favorite part of the article speaks about this change causing businesses to have to change the verbiage they use when they post jobs as some do contain items that discouraging female applicants. It has also caused those businesses to push for better child care and parental leave benefits.
