When somebody opts in to the SMS marketing list, a text message is automatically sent to their phone that confirms their opt-in, welcomes them, explains how to opt-out if desired, and reminds them about data usage.
It would be nice if this message could be customized a little. The things it already mentions are important for compliance reasons, so that should stay. I just wanted to add "Msg frequency varies" to be extra compliant. But I can also see the potential for a custom message after the compliance stuff--something where the company can give a more personal welcome and talk about their marketing more.
