I believe "Opted In" is another tag that showed up with these. We asked our CSM back in July and this is the response we got back:
These tags work as filters for your customers based on their interactions with your email marketing campaigns.
- Opted-In/Email-Engaged: "Double Opt-in" requires customers to confirm they want to receive marketing content from you. This improves email deliverability by only sending marketing content to customers who actually want to receive it. By default, all of your existing customers (except the ones on your suppression list) are opted in and won't need to register. New customers will receive an opt-in email after they've booked and completed a job with your business. These tags are associated with customers who have opted-in and/or have engaged with you via your marketing emails.
- Email Dormant: "Opt-out" messages are automatically sent to your customers who have not opened any of your emails in a customizable timeframe. Customers who have not yet responded to your emails or to the opt-out email itself are labeled "Email dormant."
The purpose of these tags is to give you and your team more visibility into which customers are more/less engaged with your business so you can better market to them moving forward.
