Recurring Service Events still showing up for inactive Recurring Services

I recently went through and cleaned up all of our old recurring services.  We had a number of customers that somehow got more than one on their profile over the years.  I am finding that those customers that I have deleted the recurring services for no longer show that service on the membership, but it still shows up under the location for the customer.  This is causing recurring service events to come up for inactive recurring services.  Has anyone ran into this and if so, how do I clean that up?
