Technicians scheduling a non-job event on mobile?

I just had a technician schedule a paid non-job event from the mobile side today. I can't seem to find anywhere in permissions how to turn off the ability to create those. I thought it was only a permission for the office side. Is there a way to not give them access to this feature?

Thank you! I want them to be able to still see it so I'm going to try to leave it as appear only when scheduled for now.

Hi Amy,

In this situation, it sounds like the technician clocked into an event, which generates a non-job event on the dispatch board. Timesheet codes can be set to always appear on mobile, so they can always access them.

If you don’t want technicians to be able to clock into events, you can set the timesheet code only to appear when scheduled or hide it altogether. If you want to change that, you can find it here:

Settings > People > Payroll > Timesheet Codes > Edit > under "Technician Visibility"
