Implementing new pricebook items from generated purchase orders.

When creating a purchase order, new items should automatically be entered into the pricebook from a purchase order. It is extremely tedious and redundant to have to add the new item to the pricebook then create a purchase order. Anyone else having this issue too?

@nashiabenck I do the same thing as @MirandaMel as it helps to keep our pricebook items simple and significant. After a few months you can run a report on pricebook items and if you see a material/equipment that is commonly used in your company then you can add it!

Agreed!  We use a "Special order" code to make it simple for the PO and then I enter in the information in Pricebook before updating the PO.  Did you come across any ideas for this?  I would vote for it!
