I'm getting an error that says "QBCFMonitorService not running on this computer." How do I fix this issue and ensure that QuickBooks works without interruptions?

The "QBCFMonitorService not running on this computer" error indicates that the QuickBooks Database Server Manager (QBCFMonitorService) is not active, which can prevent QuickBooks from accessing company files over a network. To resolve this, follow these steps:

  1. Restart the QBCFMonitorService: Go to Services (search in the Start menu), find QBCFMonitorService, and start or restart it.
  2. Verify Installation: Ensure QuickBooks Database Server Manager is installed.
  3. Check Firewall Settings: Ensure firewall or antivirus settings are not blocking QuickBooks services.
  4. Reboot Your Computer: Restart your system to refresh all services.
