I’m encountering QuickBooks Error 15243 when trying to update my payroll. The error message reads, “Error 15243: The QuickBooks Update Service is not responding.” I’ve tried restarting QuickBooks and my computer, but the issue persists. Could someone help me resolve this error? Any advice on troubleshooting steps or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

QuickBooks Error 15243 occurs when updating payroll due to a damaged QuickBooks File Copy Service (FCS). To resolve, ensure QuickBooks is updated, verify the FCS is running in services.msc, and repair QuickBooks installation via Control Panel to restore the functionality of payroll updates.
