I am having some back lash regarding the amount of time you give technicians in the morning before their first call as PAID TIME. We can set this time in each technicians payroll settings. TIA

We have 2 different rules:

Technicians who take the work trucks home we start their time after 1 hour of drive time, if it is under 1 hour, they start as soon as they arrive to the job. At the end of the day, they get paid for drive time after the hour.

For the techs who start at shop, we start their time as soon as they get in to the shop or pick up their truck at our storage site.

I think that can vary a lot from company to company. What you could do is start their paid time when they dispatch to their first call instead of as soon as they clock in?

Hi @Mark Arnold?,

We suggest to reach out to your Success Team to discuss what amount of time would work best for your company!
