I am having the same issue and have been told to refund the payment on the wrong account and apply a new payment to the correct account. By doing this it will place an entry into refunds for me which is not what I want too occur. I feel that Service Titan should include some kind of journal entry feature to allow for transferring payments from one account to another since there are instances when payments are posted wrong.

You can unapply a payment from an invoice and reapply it to another invoice/customer. Here is an article from the knowledge base that might help.

You can't move a payment between customers but yes the unapply reapply is correct for moving it between invoices that bill to the same customer.
