Is there a customer portal link that I can add to text messages when I send reminders to the customer to be able to click and schedule their own maintenance through that link?

If you want, you can use the basic link to your customer portal. Once they log in, they can submit an appointment request, but nothing specific to their membership, the portal doesn't do that.

You could setup something external, coded with the API.... but that would be extremely pricey.

Text messages are very limited in what fields you can input.  I am not sure if it would be capable of such a thing.  @SteveCossette  this might be up your alley with the tech side of things?
