Tech selects HOLD for a job waiting for parts. It disappears from the dispatch board. Why? How do we resolve this so we can use HOLD but have the job maintain its position on the dispatch board until it can be addressed for rescheduling?

All jobs on Hold are visible from your Dispatch board. We use our Dispatch board more than the Schedule board & our Schedulers are trained to re-visit each Hold on a daily basis as part of their morning routine. Every morning, we schedule our overnight work orders & return to our Holds. Our Schedulers are required to document the effort that was made to change the job s status from Hold to Active so that we may always provide our customers with a detailed history of the work that was done to complete their jobs.
It would be nice if Service Titan had some sort of tickler system to provide reminders for date specific Holds, but for now Google Calendar or Outlook works just fine for an organization our size.

We use "Done for Now" when jobs have been started, but require additional resources (e.g. when our plumber does not have the right part & has to run to the supplier). We use "Hold" to input a job into the system, but have not scheduled it as of yet.
