I wasn't able to find a way to have dispatch notifications not be sent out if a tech opens up a paused job....sometimes he has to pause a job and then go back into it to make notes etc and it is sending the customer a notification that he is coming back.

when he is not. Any suggestions? There is no way to only send a dispatch notification one time..I have already asked ST support and I do not have time to turn off the notifications for each customer after the initial one.

If the tech pauses a job I believe if they need to add notes to the job they should send the notes to whom is booking the job and then from there the person who books the job should go into the job to make the notes. Otherwise tell the tech to not pause the job until they post the notes or unless they need to go back to the job the next day. The pause feature shouldn't be used unless they are going home for the night or going to lunch... (for those all day jobs). If for some reason another tech is going to be heading out to the job have the tech close the job after he is done and then schedule another appointment with another tech... after you have already added the tech to the job.

Let me know if you have questions.
