Combine materials in an estimate

We have Services set up to provide materials. Sometimes our estimators will add more than one service with materials attached to the same estimate. When this happens if the services have the same materials there are more than one line item on an estimate that is the same. This makes requisitions confusing as there will be three line items for the same thing. (Example below).

Two 7/8" AC Press 90s with Task A

One 7/8 AC Press 90 with Task B

If the list is requisitioned OR printed it shows as multiple line items, meaning it populates POs as multiple lines and our project managers have to go through the full list to confirm how many are actually specced for a job. 

Thoughts on an option to combine like items in an estimate?

Could the estimator remove one of them?  That's the only thing I can think of that would work for it.

They could, but then they'd have to change the total to be a combination of both.

We made these tasks with lists to save them time, having to combine things and then delete manually would add time back in.

It would be great if it were a button to tap that combines them and the values so that the estimator can press it, just like the Calculate Price or other options.
