We order a ton of produce as "specials order"  we do not stock these items so there is no need to create a pricebook item other than "misc material".  When we create a PO for the misc material, the description field does not populate once the PO pdf is created.  There is valuable real estate taken with Tech name and the st part number and item name populates with the same information.  Also freight does not populate on the PDF.  Shouldn't we be able to create a template or work with our advisor to customize the PO for our use?

When I download my PO and the item is Materials Purchased  - is our miscellaneous, we add the description and when print it shows

I would verify that your Purchase configuration has the item description on PO Print view enabled
