Hey everyone,
I'm looking for advice on a more efficient way to transfer sold job templates to transfer templates in ServiceTitan. Our current process involves marking all materials as sold and booking them to a job when a job estimate template is used. We then use the picklist function to gather all the necessary materials for the job. However, the transfer step is taking an excessive amount of time.
We have around 20+ templates, and we update them weekly. Saving these templates as Excel files isn’t practical because we’d need to manually change the code and amounts every time a template is updated. Additionally, we’re not sure if we can export these templates to Excel in a way that would streamline the process.
We tried using the requisition function, but it looks like it will only tell us if we need to purchase material for a job, which doesn’t help with our current transfer process.
Is there a way to streamline this process, such as converting the picklist directly into a transfer or automatically creating a transfer once the job is sold?
Any tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Hey the requisitions feature would be best for this scenario! You do not have to use it to make a purchase order you can use it to reserve items in your own inventory as well.
