our turn techs get a certain percentage when an estimate is sold.

The sales person will then get a quote from the vendor, makes sure that the estimate is correct, send it over to the customer, if the tech has not already, they might send brochures as well, then call the customer to follow up. Sometimes if the technician is unsure of the correct vendor to be able to price the product, the sales person will have to send to different vendors to find the match. Our in house sales team does not go to the property.

Hi @CNorman-GDM -- in my experience, if the selling tech already gave an estimate, what is the salesperson's purpose once it's handed over? Typically, if a tech finds an opportunity, they turn the lead over to the salesperson who then comes out, establishes that relationship and provides options to the customer. In this case, the tech would get a spiff for turning over the lead. You can make it so there are different tiers, such as a lead turned over payout vs. a completed install from that lead. Either way, both should get their separate payouts. The salesperson should get a commission for the won opportunity, if that's the case.

How do you divide that in Service Titan?
