Eliminate an extra step in job booking

Whenever we create a job, in order to add a price and the description of the job, we need to add a task in the invoice. I believe that this is an unnecessary extra step and we can do all that while creating a job itself.

What Jess said! We have some job types that automatically have the diagnostic fee added. For instance, a No a/c would 90% of the time need a diagnostic. I would rather it be there and have the tech take it off if it needs to be, then worry about either a CSR adding it or the tech adding it to make sure that we are collecting the right amount.

You could set up your job types with default tasks. Is it always the same price & description you need to add (by job type)?
