Currently we discount 10% but we limit it to $500 on all individual jobs. There should be a way to limit the discount given on individual jobs.
For example, if we sell 3 service tasks for $10,000 on one Job the discount given will be $1,000 when we should only be discounting $500. We haven't found a way to adjust this

I've not seen a way of limiting a way of member savings. We have 2 different memberships. A basic and a premium, so they get a 10% or a 15% depending on which membership they have. If no membership, no savings. That's the incentive to having the reoccurring monthly membership is they get those discounted prices in the event of something happening. I think in the long run it works out better for the company anyway but it does save that customer money! It's a win win for all involved!

Yeah we have one discount rate for all our memberships. We have an in-house warranty membership that complicated the discounts a tad since we use member pricing as our only discounting option. We toyed with the idea of two levels but it was downvoted by our leadership team. haha. Another option would be to create multiple memberships directed to a pricebook category to separate different workflows, member price in the pricebook or a discount percentage from the membership. We are revamping ours soon so this will definitely be a big topic for our meetings but this will likely be next Fall.

You can create a member price for that task in the pricebook. If they have an active membership it will default to member price if the settings versus the percentage. You could also place those items in unique categories as an option as well.

We can only limit it on jobs with one task item, but we can't limit it on jobs that have multi tasks.
