Making A Form Mandatory

Hi Ya'll!

We are running into a bit of a problem trying to have the techs fill out an HVAC checklist form when they are on an install job.  We put a trigger on it for “when close out button is tapped” but it still allows them to fill out later and they can still close the job without filling out the form. Is there a way to put a stop to this, where they are unable to close out the job, if they do not fill out the form?

There is a box to check off "required" when setting triggers. You can also go to each individual question in your form and make those questions required!

Thanks so much!! We will try this out!

My office manager just said this, "So we already did that but the issue is that the techs have the ability to hit “fill later”. Is there a way to remove that?"

Unfortunately we're running into this issue too. They can close out the job and the forms will say "started" but no one gets an alert since they did not submit. Don't think there's an ST fix at this time.

Is this still an issue? I started looking in the ST community because we are having a problem with techs not debriefing or informing the office on when a job is completed. We are trying to make a mandatory communication form at the end of the job stating we need some info. Some?! ANY! Please!!! lol

It's still an issue. Unfortunately making it "required" doesn't mean they do it. We have required forms but the employees just "start" it and forget to enter anything or submit it.
