Hit me with your favorite aspects of company holiday parties you have attended! I'm on our planning committee and I feel like we need to shake it up this year.

Last year we rented out a venue and had dinner, drinks, a Photo booth, and Karaoke. It was a blast! Employees and spouses were invited.

A popular one for our area is dinner and games (arcade or indoor go karting), or a formal dinner and dance.  Great food, music and prizes are always a win!   Photo Booths are becoming more and more popular too 🙂

We have rented out a minor league ballpark for a home run derby type of event, and last year we rented out a skeet shooting course (think golf) with a pavilion and catered food.  We have thought about bowling and other events, but I think this year we are looking at something more formal, like a sit down dinner.

We have done planned activities as teams and that has been a lot of fun. One of the games at our fall cookout was we tied string to a marker and they had to use the strings to write the word TEAM on a piece of paper. We have a prize wheel that the winners get to spin and they love that!

I have had a few companies where we go to a dinner theater...lots of the staff love them as it seems to suit a variety of people.  Other places have been casinos or dinner/dance.  And of course you can not go wrong with making sure you have some sweet prizes to give away!
