I'd like for there to be an option to lock the inventory location of parts in Chargeable Materials on invoices. I've noticed that when technicians sell estimates, or when our dispatcher is assigning technicians to jobs, materials on the job's invoice will change their location to the tech & different to what was in the P.O., which is sometimes the warehouse, a different tech, etc.
Currently, my workaround is exhaustive and time-consuming. We have a custom report a ServiceTitan team was able to build for us that shows all the chargeable materials on invoices for jobs with appointments tomorrow. I download these reports, go through each job, and verify that each part on each job is coming from the correct inventory location.
