Frequently, completed Recurring Service Events are showing as "not attempted" once a job is done. The job has been scheduled from the recurring service event and properly completed. Why would this happen? Does it show "not completed" if something was removed from the invoice template? This is frustrating as much of our work is recurring service.
We do not use membership contracts or automatically schedule recurring events. We schedule them manually when a customer calls in.

Yes- if you remove the deferred revenue tasks from the invoice it will take it back to not completed.

Do you know if this can be turned off? This doesn't work for us and is causing extra work.

This is its intended functionality if you are using deferred revenue and can't be turned off. If you are NOT using deferred revenue, talk to your CSM about options. I've never not used deferred revenue so I'm not sure about that part!
