Technician can't close out the job without filling up the details for inventory items

Technician can not close out job without entering equipment details.  We have to manually close out jobs in order for the tech to move on to the next job.  This happens on a new install when equipment is tied to a job.  Huge inconvenience for our techs and office staff.  This is hardcoded within service titan and needs to be fixed ASAP.

At what point in your current workflow are you adding the serial numbers?

It would be best practice to enter in the serial numbers, warranty dates, etc for all new equipment.  You could have the technician pause the job then the install coordinator could be the one to input that information.  That way the tech would be able to move on to their next job.

if an invoice is needed then you will not be able to just pause the job
